Valeria Fassio is European Patent Attorney and Italian Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP.
Valeria joined the profession in 2005 practicing for nine years in a leading IP Italian firm, in an English law firm and also five years in a major French IP firm. She advises clients on the protection and defense of their patent portfolio, as well as on the definition and implementation of intellectual property strategies.
Valeria has extensive practice in drafting and prosecuting European and Italian patent applications, as well as advising clients on prosecution outside Europe.
She has experience in prior art searches and in counselling about patent infringement. She has also been involved in oral proceedings before the European Patent Office, as well as patent litigation in Italy.
Valeria is mainly involved in the fields of electronics, telecommunications, data transmission protocols, digital image processing, semiconductor devices, micro and nanotechnologies (photonic devices, optical devices) and audio-video devices.
She is also qualified as European Patent Litigator.
Valeria joined Plasseraud IP in 2023.
