Xingye Huang

Xingye is a European Patent Attorney at the Amsterdam office of Plasseraud IP. Xingye has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Pharmacy and is fluent in Mandarin and English. Xingye started her career as a patent attorney in a leading UK private practice, where she was trained and qualified as both UK Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. She worked there for over 10 years with clients from the UK and abroad, mainly in the field of industrial chemistry, bioscience, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, and polymer chemistry. She is experienced in all aspects of patent prosecution at the EPO and the UKIPO, and frequently advises clients on matters from drafting to prosecution, foreign filings, opposition, freedom to operate, and due diligence. Prior to joining Plasseraud, Xingye worked in the Amsterdam office of a renowned global law firm. During her time there, in addition to routine patent prosecution work, she was also involved in patent litigation before both the Dutch national court and the UPC, and advised pharmaceutical start-up companies on various IP related issues. 
Xingye is a registered representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), which became operational on 1 June 2023.
Xingye joined Plasseraud IP in 2025.
