Cécile Descamps

Cécile Descamps is a French and European patent attorney at Plasseraud IP. She specialises in the fields of materials, industrial processes, mechanics, packaging, construction, transport, and medical devices. Cécile gained experience as a patent engineer and then as French and European patent attorney at industrial property consulting firms for 20 years. Cécile is an expert in industrial property, in particular in drafting and filing patent applications in France, Europe and internationally, in examination and opposition proceedings, infringement litigation, mediation, patentability and freedom to operate studies. Cécile regularly gives courses on industrial property and patents to engineering and business students or clients, trains junior patent engineers and is involved in the profession within the CNCPI, in particular. Cécile joined Plasseraud IP in 2022.
