Lionel Morvan is a French and European Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. His work mainly focuses on patent matters in the fields of biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and agri-food. He also advises patent holders in the fields of Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPC) and Plant Variety Rights (PVR). Lionel is an agricultural engineer specialized in biotechnologies. He started his career in 2012 in a technology transfer office where he managed patent portfolios on a wide range of technologies in the development phase, in particular in pharmaceutical domain (small molecules, therapeutic proteins, biodegradable materials, stem cells), and then spent three years as a Patent Attorney in the chemistry department of a Parisian IP law firm. He is a lecturer at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (French National Museum of Natural History) and regularly gives training sessions on patents. Lionel joined Plasseraud IP in 2021.
