Peter Oosting

Peter Oosting is a Technology Specialist at Plasseraud IP. He is active in several fields of chemistry: pharmaceuticals, electrochemistry, cosmetics, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, polymers and biotechnology. Peter has also developed expertise in nanotechnology. He assists his clients in drafting patent applications, examination procedures, and carries out patentability and freedom-to-operate studies. After graduating as a chemical engineer from Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, he continued his studies with master’s degree at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and with a PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Bordeaux 1 in France. Afterwards, Peter worked for 10 years as a project manager in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors, and 4 years in an industrial property firm as a patent engineer. Peter joined Plasseraud IP in 2022.
