Sonia Dias

Sonia Dias is a French and European Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. She practices in the field of patents in the chemical, polymer, materials, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries. She is involved in all aspects of the acquisition of rights, including the drafting of new patent applications, the filing of Supplementary Protection Certificates, and monitoring grant procedures in France and abroad. She represents clients in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office. She also has expertise in conducting patent portfolio audits, freedom-to-operate and validity studies, as well as in patent litigation. Prior to joining Plasseraud IP, she worked in three leading French IP law firms, and held management positions in one of them. Sonia joined Plasseraud IP in 2022.
