BLEGER-RHEIN-POUPON Joins the Plasseraud IP Group

With a strong regional presence and a solid international footprint, Plasseraud IP Group continues its expansion by welcoming the Alsatian firm BLEGER-RHEIN-POUPON. This move enables the intellectual property leader to strengthen its presence in the region and enhance its technical expertise in Alsace, addressing the needs of local economic players.

Founded in 1995 in Schiltigheim, near Strasbourg, BLEGER-RHEIN-POUPON is an IP firm with around twenty professionals. The Strasbourg office of Plasseraud IP, the group's fourteenth office, will grow from seven to nearly thirty people, becoming one of the largest teams specializing in intellectual property in one of Europe's capitals.

The group thus reaffirms its ambition to support its clients in key strategic geographic areas. With its central position in Europe and a business network combining traditional expertise with cutting-edge technical innovation, the Grand-Est region stands out as one of these vital areas. According to the Alsace Eurometropole Chamber of Commerce, Alsace is home to more than 101,800 companies in commerce, industry, and services, with 580,000 employees in the commercial sector, including 122,300 in industry. In 2022, 10,554 new companies were created, reflecting the region's vibrant entrepreneurial spirit.

The alliance between BLEGER-RHEIN-POUPON and Plasseraud IP positions the group as a key partner for companies in the region, helping them manage and leverage their intellectual property portfolios, including patents, trademarks, designs, and domain names.

Alain Rhein, founding partner of BLEGER-RHEIN-POUPON, expressed his enthusiasm: "We are proud to join Plasseraud IP, one of the leading firms in intellectual property, and to unite our strengths with a group that shares our values of excellence and openness. The synergies we plan to develop will ensure our clients receive comprehensive, personalized, and evolving support to protect their innovations."

Guylène Kiesel Le Cosquer, Managing Partner of Plasseraud IP, added: "The integration of a recognized team of experts from the Grand Est is part of the group's development strategy, significantly strengthening our presence in a region at the forefront of innovation. With about twenty new team members, we also aim to foster synergies across the Rhine and continue our European ambitions. As the Unified Patent Court celebrates its first anniversary, we are more committed than ever to serving our clients' needs, positioning intellectual property as a driving force for their growth."
