Plasseraud Avocats strengthens its litigation practice with the arrival of Jean-Christophe Guerrini as Partner
Jean-Christophe Guerrini joins Plasseraud Avocats as a partner where he will work alongside Gilles Ringeisen to strengthen the litigation practice. With solid experience in intellectual property law, he joins the firm along with his associate Alexander Paichadze.
This development of Plasseraud Avocats confirms the Plasseraud IP Group’s strategy, which aims to assist its clients in all IP matters.
With over 25 years of experience spent at several reputed French law firms, Jean-Christophe Guerrini will more specifically handle legal proceedings such as patent and trademark litigation cases as well as issues relating to trade secrets, unfair competition, audio-visual rights and data protection rights…
Jean-Christophe Guerrini plays an important role in the IP ecosystem and has held various positions within trade organisations, especially as President of the Intranet and New Technologies Commission of the Conseil national des Barreaux (CNB). There, he played a key role in the expansion of the private virtual network of lawyers across the French territory.
Jean-Christophe Guerrini is a member of the French patent qualifying examination (EQF) jury –– and teaches intellectual property law at the Paris bar law school.
He was named Knight of the French Ordre National du Mérite in 2012.
Jean-Christophe Guerrini comments: “Joining Plasseraud Avocats, a member of the Plasseraud IP Group interprofessional network, and a leading player in the intellectual property field, was an obvious choice for me as it puts into shape all the time and efforts I have dedicated to this practice. To that extent, my arrival at Plasseraud Avocats represents a true opportunity to consolidate a full service offering focused on our clients’ needs.”
Cyra Nargolwalla, a Partner and member of the executive committee of Plasseraud IP, says: “Plasseraud Avocats stands out in France thanks to its perfect command of all the matters relating to intellectual property. Jean Christophe’s experience and knowledge in this area perfectly fit in with the offer we are deploying, and there are strong synergies between his background and our existing team.”

It will further enhance our position as one of the top 5 players in intellectual property in Europe. We are delighted to welcome him on board.”
