Plasseraud IP continues its expansion with the opening of a new office in Strasbourg
Plasseraud IP, France's leading intellectual property law firm, continues its expansion with the opening of a Strasbourg office
With an already extensive regional coverage and a solid international presence, the Plasseraud IP group continues its expansion with the opening of a new office in Strasbourg, allowing the leader in intellectual property to extend its reach throughout France and to better service local economic players.
Headed by Ecaterina Bonin, an IP attorney in Strasbourg for over 15 years, this fourteenth office -its ninth in France- extends eastward Plasseraud IP's presence in France to the Grand Est region to advise clients in this strategic geographical center of innovation.
A renowned trading region for centuries that holds a strategic position in the heart of Europe and which a number of European institutions call home, the Grand Est region is endowed with a strong and dynamic business economy, with companies that have already begun their industrial transition and have strong growth potential.
Ecaterina Bonin will manage the Strasbourg office. Having previously worked for a local intellectual property law firm, where she advised on large trademark portfolios, her first mission will be to develop the Strasbourg office.
"I am delighted to be joining the Plasseraud IP law group, one of the finest names in intellectual property. Advising on the full range of issues concerning the protection of innovation, contracts, valuations, and litigation, the group’s Strasbourg office will allow us to support local economic players in developing a comprehensive, scalable and tailor-made strategy, ideally suited to the protection of their innovations,” she says.
Guylène Kiesel Le Cosquer, Managing Partner, comments: "Our goal is to serve our clients where they need it. This applies geographically - hence our new location in Strasbourg - but also to the development of local actors. In a global economic environment structured around innovation and more precisely - we hope and stand behind this - around responsible innovation, intellectual property is indeed a strategic asset of the company. Plasseraud IP is therefore active in all areas related to the protection and valuation of inventions, innovations, and creations. We are happy to welcome Ecaterina and to bring, thanks to her, our firm’s ambitious and exciting vision to the East of France".
