Founded in 2021 by Haïkel Balti and Cesar Valencia gallardo, Faircraft is a Paris-based start-up specializing in biotechnology. Driven by advances in cellular biology, it grows animal cells to replicate the complex structure of leather material, with a low environmental impact.

This recent fundraising round, supported by internationally renowned investment funds, will enable the company to accelerate its industrial and commercial development. It is targeting the luxury market (leather goods, ready-to-wear) as well as the automotive and furniture sectors in the medium term.
