Three experts from Plasseraud IP recognized Rising Stars 2023 by Managing IP

Plasseraud IP is pleased to announce the nomination of Charlotte Leleu, Charlotte Montaud and Nathalie Wajs as "Rising Stars 2023" by Managing IP, for the third year in a row.

Charlotte Leleu is a Partner in our Mechanics - Electronics - IT department and Head of the Toulouse office. She assists clients in the energy, space and healthcare sectors with their patent procedures, and has developed specific expertise in the patentability of computer simulation inventions involving artificial intelligence.

Charlotte Montaud is a Partner and Head of Plasseraud IP Contracts & Valorisation. An expert in contractual engineering, she assists clients in drafting, auditing and negotiating their agreements related to R&D and the valuation of IP titles, auditing contracts in connection with fund-raising on behalf of investors, as well as in pre-litigation, litigation follow-up and dispute settlement.

Nathalie Wajs is a Partner in our Biology - Chemistry department. She assists clients from the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and petrochemical sectors in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications. As a litigation expert, she is involved in patent litigation, oppositions and oral proceedings before the EPO. 

The "Rising Stars" ranking honours the most promising IP experts among professionals in over 70 jurisdictions.

The three partners are also involved in the development of green innovation and global warming issues, Nathalie Wajs presented the "Tech for Change" pitch session at this year's ChangeNOW show, she and Charlotte Montaud also took part in the Sustainable Leather Forum, and they both wrote an article for the Leather Fashion Design magazine entitled "Faced with the challenges of climate change, intellectual property is a lever for the leather industry" (in French). Charlotte Leleu is a member of the Plasseraud IP Group's CSR Commission and has worked on the Group's Carbon Footprint (in French).

Last June, Plasseraud IP was named "Firm of the Year 2023" in the Trademark Prosecution category (Patent & Trademark Attorney Firms).
