Plasseraud IP at the General Assembly and Conference on the Impact of AI on IP Rights of the AIPPI France

Last week, Cyra Nargolwalla, Managing Partner, and Charlotte Leleu, Partner, had the pleasure of attending the General Assembly of the French Group of AIPPI and the annual conference, organized at Jones Day, Paris.

  • General Assembly: A chance to discuss the approval of the minutes, the moral and financial reports, the election of the new Bureau of the French Group, as well as the presentation of the agenda for the Yokohama Congress.
  • Conference: Three engaging roundtables on the definition of AI, its application across various industries, and its impact on IP rights, including copyright, trade secrets, and patents.

Cyra Nargolwalla was re-elected Vice-President of the Bureau of the French Group of the AIPPI.

Charlotte Leleu explored, during one of the roundtables, the impact of AI on different IP rights, particularly patent law. A timely and critical topic for IP professionals!

Congratulations to the newly elected and re-elected members of the Bureau, and kudos to all the speakers for their valuable contributions!
