Price Media Law Moot Court Competition 2021/2022
Plasseraud IP is pleased to be partner of the Price Media Law Moot Court Programme 2021/2022 competition, organised by the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights research institute at the University of Oxford Law School.
Established in 2008 by the "Comparative Media Law & Policy" programme, this annual international media law plot competition aims to promote freedom of expression and the role of media and information technology around the world.
The online competition is open to students in the field of law. Several prizes are awarded: "Best Memorials", "Best Individual Oralist" and "Best Oralist".
Patrick Boyle, Partner and co-head of the Trademarks and Designs department, has the pleasure to virtually hand over the “Best Memorial” award.
Patrick highlights the growing importance of intellectual property in the current digital transformation, on the internet, social media, and metaverse to come, to protect both personal data and creativity, at a time when most exchanges take place virtually.
Marking the commitment of all participants throughout this competition, Patrick also reminds Plasseraud IP’s commitment to excellence, openness and diversity.
“We are very proud to be involved in a competition that fosters those qualities in the future generation of attorneys! Congratulations to the winners, and to all participants who have delivered quality arguments despite the challenges that they have faced !” - Patrick Boyle
The competition is carried out in several phases. The Northern European round takes place from 7 to 9 February 2022. The final phase of the competition, the international round, will take place from 4 to 8 April 2022.
