The United Kingdom has left the European Union and the transition period provided for under the Agreement on the Withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU will end on 31 December, 2020. As a result, the important consequences relating to IP, particularly trademarks and designs, will become effective from 1 January, 2021.
