Three Plasseraud IP’s experts in the Rising Stars ranking 2020 by Managing IP
We are proud to announce the distinction of 3 Plasseraud IP experts in the "Rising Stars 2020" ranking published by Managing IP.
The "Rising Stars" ranking has just been published by Managing IP, the leading magazine of the intellectual property industry worldwide. Based on the analysis of information provided by various players in the intellectual property sector (IP firms and agents, lawyers, in-house counsel, etc.), this ranking honors the most promising intellectual property experts among professionals in more than 70 jurisdictions.

Yann Debrit is a Patent Attorney in our Mechanical/Electronics/IT department and was promoted to Partner of Plasseraud IP in early 2020.
Graduated as an engineer, then as an IP graduate, Yann joined Plasseraud IP's Patents / Mechanics, Electronics, Computer Science practice as a Patent Attorney in 2016, after his first experience in a Parisian IP law firm. He is also a registered European Patent Attorney before the European Patent Office. His activity focuses on the energy sectors (electricity and hydrocarbons), industrial tools, medical devices, telecommunications and IT. He is also in charge of relations with the INPI (French National Institute of Industrial Property) on IT matters and advanced user aspects of the office's online solutions (e-INPI team). Yann also teaches Industrial Property courses at an engineering school and is a member of examiners for the professional IP attorney exam specialising in Patents.
Marion Fauré is a Patent Attorney in our Mechanical/Electronics/IT department and was promoted to Partner of Plasseraud IP in early 2020.
Marion joined Plasseraud IP's Patents/Mechanics/Electronics/IT department in 2013 as a Patent Attorney, with a dual experience in industry and in a IP law firm. Holder of a PhD in Lasers and Dense Materials, she acquired sound IP experience by practicing in Paris and regional IP law firms for 5 years but also in the IP department of a major automotive group for 2 years. Marion supports key industrial accounts by managing their patent portfolios. She also assists her clients in litigation proceedings in France and Europe.
Nathalie Wajs is a Patent Attorney in our Biology/Chemistry department. She joined Plasseraud IP in 2008 after her first experience as an in-house patent counsel at L'Oréal.
Nathalie is involved in the development and management of patent portfolios for a diverse clientele: individuals, companies in the cosmetic field, but also in the pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries, as well as research institutes. Nathalie assists her clients in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, advises them on freedom to operate, due diligence and valuation of their intellectual property assets, and has developed a solid expertise in litigation: patent litigation, oppositions and oral proceedings before the EPO.
In 2020, 4 Plasseraud IP Partners were also recognized as "IP Stars". Isabelle Meunier-Cœur and Guylène Kiesel Le Cosquer, in the "Trade mark star 2020" category, Cyra Nargolwalla and Albert Hassine in the "Patent star 2020" category.
Marie Faessel, and Laurent Nowak, Rising stars 2019, are also listed as notable practitioners, bringing to 9 intellectual property attorneys of our group ranked among the most recognized professionals by the leading magazine of the sector.
