Plasseraud IP and Vittoz join forces

Plasseraud IP Group, France's leading intellectual property law firm, and Vittoz join forces

As of 1 January 2022, the Plasseraud IP Group, a leader in intellectual property with a solid presence in France and abroad, and Vittoz, one of the oldest intellectual property firms in Paris, join forces. This agreement will allow the Group to expand its teams and offering even further to better service its clients.

Based in Paris for more than 40 years, Vittoz is specialised in trademark law and is particularly well-known in this field. With a client portfolio that includes a number of major brands in the newspaper and media industry, the hotel and catering sector, and the consumer goods and distribution services as well as several SMEs in the fashion, watchmaking, or even the agricultural and wine sectors, the firm works with some of the most renowned companies in France. 

Today, the firm is led by two partners, Sophie Jacqueline and Armelle Blachier, and includes a  trademark attorney, Myriam Fayard, and a paralegal, Emmanuelle Peres.

This agreement comes after a year full of outstanding events for the Plasseraud IP Group. Last September, the Group announced the strengthening of Plasseraud Avocats with the arrival of a new team specialised in litigation, while in November, the opening of a new office in Strasbourg allowed Plasseraud IP to extend its reach throughout France. More recently, the nomination of three new partners came to enhance the Group’s regional positioning.
